Create a Lasting Legacy
You can extend your support of UCC and make a lasting impact on the children and families we serve by making a legacy gift. Your legacy gift helps ensure future generations of children and families will have the education, programs, resources and guidance to reach their full potential.
There are several ways to create a legacy gift - two of the most common options are:
Bequests
Bequests in a will or trust are a time-honored way of ensuring that your support of the United Community Center continues for generations to come.
· Name United Community Center, Inc. the beneficiary of a specific amount or percentage of your estate.
· Use a residuary bequest to leave UCC what’s left after loved ones are provided for.
· You may also want to discuss other options such as contingent bequests with your financial planner.
Qualified Retirement Plan
Designate the United Community Center as a full or partial beneficiary of your qualified retirement plan (IRA, 401(k), 403(b)) using a beneficiary form.
· Leave other, less heavily taxed assets to your family.
· Change your beneficiaries at any time, retaining maximum flexibility.
· Act without the expense of an attorney. Simply request a change of beneficiary form from your plan provider and include United Community Center, Inc. as a full or partial beneficiary.
To make a legacy gift via your will, insurance policy, or alternative planned giving method, please give the following information to your attorney or financial advisor:
Legal name: United Community Center, Inc.
Address: 1028 S. 9th Street, Milwaukee WI 53204
Federal tax ID#: 39-1146191
